Aerosol Transmission is when people talk, breathe, cough or sneeze, respiratory droplets are exhaled out of their mouth which are called aerosols. These aerosols carry the virus laden pathogens and can infect people as far as 15-20 feet away in an indoor setting for as long as they are suspended in the air. The suspension time can vary from minutes to hours depending upon the temperature and humidity.
