Our first hands-on experience with 3D printing!

At MaDeIT Innovation Foundation - IIITDM | Indian Institute of Information Technology Design & Manufacturing IIITDM Kancheepuram.

We stepped into a whole new world of creativity, learning how ideas become real through 3D printing.

We saw how a simple design on the computer turns into a real object using a 3D printer.

We learned how to load the design, operate the machine, and even watched it build layer by layer.

Big thanks to the amazing mentors at MaDeIT for letting us explore, experiment, and express!

Had a great time being part of the Breakthrough Science Society visit, a voluntary organization that inspires young minds to think scientifically and see the world through the lens of curiosity and critical thinking.

From interactive learning to fun-filled science conversations, it was a day filled with excitement, , and . Grateful to be part of a community that believes in Science for Society and Science in Thinking. 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢!

We had an amazing time exploring the world of nuclear science with the Breakthrough Science Society!

We saw real models of power plants, learned how nuclear energy is made, and understood how important clean energy is for our future. It was fun, exciting, and filled with learning through experience.

Standing beside this powerful map showcasing India's nuclear power plants, I was reminded of how technology, innovation, and sustainability are at the core of building a self-reliant energy ecosystem. From Kudankulam to Kakrapar, each plant is a testament to India's growing capabilities in clean and reliable energy generation.

Let’s continue reshaping our future through science, energy innovation, and sustainable development.

𝘼 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮!

It was truly inspiring to see our young minds take their first step into the world of innovation at 𝙑𝙄𝙎𝘼𝙄 2025 – 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 & 𝙀𝙭𝙝𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙩 Vel Tech Technical University. This platform gave them not just the opportunity to exhibit their projects but also a chance to learn from seniors, engineering and polytechnic students.

We kids got a chance to interact, absorb insights, and understand how engineering solutions tackle complex problems.

Our idea is to solve a common problem faced by bike riders who wear spectacles for 's Contest by , , Govt of India.

To find a technical solution, we have to check the possibilities and feasibilities with Eye Doctors

So, we visited eye doctors and interviewed them to understand the challenge. We met Dr. Atheek Shaik, taught us about BackVertex and also met some optometrists.

The Vertex distance is the space between the cornea (eye) and the corrective lens. This is important because it affects how the lens works.

This study helped us understand how we can design our solution for bike riders!
