Creating balance in the entire design by repetition of the hexagonal pattern is what we did here. There is a bit of rearrangement, addition, and subtraction in the pattern creation but repetition of the design unit in multiple areas gives it a theme and a sense of cohesion.

Bedroom design of a residential apartment designed in Sion, Mumbai. The client requirements were basic so we played with levels and did not stick to rigid forms in case of false ceiling design. Indirect lighting with led strips and spot lights for the TV unit is provided. Simple yet elegant!

The concept of incorporating the same two materials for every possible piece of furniture has been used for this room. Wooden finished sunmica and charcoal sheets have been used for the door, wardrobe, sofa as well as the overhead storage. This creates a balanced look for the entire space.

Here is how we've designed the living room of a small 1bhk flat in Dadar. Pvc backlit panels for the TV and use of corian for the TV unit. The wall next to it is covered with mirrors which gives an impression of a larger room and lastly customized lazor cut grill panels for lights to complete the final look.

Designing the living room with a wooden feel inspite of not using wood at all! Here the ceiling is designed using PVC sheets and the panels between the mirrors are made using charcoal sheets with laminate members on the sides. That's how it gives a rustic yet classy look to the living room.

Broadly, the word 'niche' stands for an area of your speciality. In architecture, the word 'niche' has a different meaning where it stands for a decorative recess into a wall. So here is the name of my page, standing for both the definitions. I am glad to come up with a way to display my work of interior design projects with .shinde.1069 here.
