The planning of the new Jodhpur Terminal is guided by clarity, efficiency, and ease of navigation. Airports are among the most complex public buildings to plan, requiring the proper organisation of passengers, baggage, security, aircraft operations, and service movement within a single environment.

At the Jodhpur Terminal, departures and arrivals are organised to minimise cross-flow, while island-configured check-in counters and a linear security sequence enable a smooth passenger journey. Intuitive circulation corridors, efficient baggage handling systems, and clear wayfinding reduce dwell times and support effortless movement across the terminal.

The planning framework also anticipates future growth, enabling the terminal to accommodate increasing passenger volumes and evolving aviation infrastructure.
