My grandma’s chutney from veggie peels 💚
This ridge gourd peel chutney (heerekai sippe chutney) is not just a nostalgic zero-waste recipe — it’s also a flavor-packed spread for sandwiches and wraps!

She taught me to never throw away the good stuff — and these peels? They’re full of fiber, nutrients, and flavor. Just roast with garlic, chilies, coconut, grind with tamarind, and finish with mustard-curry leaf tadka.

✨ Serve with hot rice
✨ Use as a sandwich spread
✨ Add to wraps for that extra zing!

Minimal waste. Maximum flavor. Toddler approved ✅

Stop winging your dinners at 6 PM while your kids are screaming. 🛑👇

This 10-minute paper brain dump literally saves me 10 hours of chaotic cooking and dish-washing every single week.
As a mom to a wild 3-year-old, I don’t have time to stand over a stove every night. So, I batch-prep our “Weekly Meal Bowls” on Sunday.
The best part? My toddler gets to help (he’s the official dosa batter mixer), he actually eats the food, and I don’t have to think about “What’s for dinner?” for the next 5 days. 🥣✨
Ready to reclaim your evenings?
I’ve mapped out my exact Sunday routine into a dynamic, step-by-step Weekly Meal Prep Blueprint. It includes:
🛒 My organized grocery checklist
⏳ The exact step-by-step cooking roadmap (cook everything in under 90 mins)
🥣 The “Mix & Match” Bowl Matrix so you never get bored
👶 Toddler-friendly tweaks to keep the little ones happy
💬 Comment “MEAL” below and I’ll instantly slide the link into your DMs so you can set your week up for success!

I didn’t tell my kid what this was made of. He scraped the bowl clean.
Avocado chocolate mousse. No cream. No sugar. No dairy. Just five ingredients and ten minutes.
What’s in it:
🥑 Ripe avocado
🍫 Cocoa powder
🍯 Honey
🌿 Vanilla
🧂 Pinch of salt
❤️ Pomegranate on top — non negotiable
Blend until smooth. Chill for 20 minutes if you can wait. Top with pomegranate. Try not to eat it straight from the blender.
The avocado does everything here — it gives the mousse that thick, creamy, rich texture without a single drop of cream. You cannot taste it. I promise. My kid is proof.

Save this. Make it. Don’t reveal the secret ingredient until after. 🥑🍫

Had a fever for two days. Made ganji. Felt human again.
Red boiled rice ganji — a staple from Udupi and Mangalore, coastal Karnataka. This is not a trendy recipe. This is not aesthetically perfect. This is the food my people have been eating for generations when the body needs to heal and the soul needs to come home.
What’s on this plate:
- Red boiled rice ganji
- Rice broth poured over — don’t throw this away, ever
- Curd + salt
- Egg bhurji
- Black chana curry
- Pickle — mandatory, non negotiable
- Yetti chutney powder — home in a jar
No measurements. No technique. Just instinct and memory.
I live far from Udupi now. But this plate takes me back every single time. The smell of yetti chutney alone is enough.
If you grew up eating ganji — drop a comment. I want to know your version. 🤍
If you’ve never tried it — this is your sign. Find red boiled rice. Make this. Thank me later.

1:32 PM. Instant noodles. Zero guilt.
We need to have an honest conversation about instant noodles and the completely unnecessary guilt that comes with them.
Here’s what I actually made:
🍜 Instant noodles
🥦 usually Whatever veggies in my fridge
🧀 Paneer — protein sorted
🍳 One fried egg — more protein
🌿 Would’ve added more greens but it was running late
Total time: 15 minutes.
Total guilt: none.
Add vegetables and protein to instant noodles and you have a complete meal. Not a cheat meal. Not a guilty pleasure. A meal. On busy days, on tired days, on 1am days — this is a completely valid choice.
Diet culture made you scared of a packet of noodles. That’s the real problem here.
My pup agreed. He lol was very supportive throughout.
Save this for your next late night hunger emergency. 🍜

Drop a 🙋 in the comments if you’ve eaten instant noodles at an ungodly hour and felt guilty about it. We need to talk.

High Protein Bagel

I was not expecting these to be this good. Soft inside, golden outside, cheese and jalapeño on top — and genuinely one of the easiest bakes I’ve done.
What’s in the dough:
🧀 Cottage cheese
🌾 Atta
🌾 Maida
🥄 Baking powder
🧂 Salt
On top:
🧀 Cheese
🌶️ Jalapeño
⚪ Sesame seeds
No yeast means no waiting. No boiling means no extra steps. Just mix, shape, top, and bake.
The cottage cheese is the secret — it adds protein, keeps the bagel soft, and makes the dough incredibly easy to handle. Don’t skip it.

Save this for your next weekend bake. Your Sunday self will thank you. 🥯
