What happens when the greatest warrior meets the greatest strategist? The answer lies in surrender.

On this sacred day of Janmashtami, the story of Barbarik and Khatu Shyamji reminds us of the extraordinary wisdom of Lord Krishna. A wisdom that looked beyond strength and victory, and revealed the deeper power of sacrifice, faith and surrender.

Perhaps that is Krishna’s greatest teaching. When we place ourselves completely in His hands, He sees what we cannot.

May this Janmashtami bring His grace into our hearts, His wisdom into our choices and His presence into every step we take.

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and joyous Janmashtami. 🙏✨

Jai Shri Krishna. 💙

Homo Faber 2026, An Island of Light, unfolds across Venice as a beautiful dialogue between craft, imagination and the human hand.

From the striking installations that transform the spaces around us to the intricate carpet by Jaipur Rugs, every creation invites you to stop, look closer and appreciate the hands, traditions and stories behind it.

There is something deeply moving about seeing craftsmanship from different cultures come together in one place, each piece so distinct, yet connected by the time, skill and human touch that went into creating it.
In Venice, an island of light becomes an ode to the enduring beauty of making things by hand. ✨

Homo Faber 2026, An Island of Light, brings together extraordinary craftsmanship from across the world in Venice. Under the artistic direction of Es Devlin, light and shadow create an immersive world where the beauty of the human hand takes centre stage.

It was especially meaningful to experience this with Sangita Jindal and to see the JSW Foundation, as a Guardian of Creativity and Craftsmanship, championing Indian craft on this global stage and supporting the participation of 32 Indian artisans.

So wonderful to see so many familiar faces from India, and to see Tarun Tahiliani showcasing his fine craftsmanship here too was truly a treat.

A beautiful celebration of all things made by hand. ✨

Do you believe in miracles or science?

In 1997, an excavation in Malleswaram, Bengaluru, revealed something extraordinary beneath the earth: the Dakshinamukha Nandi Teertha Kalyani Kshetra.

At its heart is a remarkable feat of water engineering. A continuous stream flows from the mouth of a stone Nandi, falls directly over a Shiva Linga and then collects in the temple’s stepped Kalyani.

Ancient ingenuity, sacred belief, or a fascinating meeting of both?

Watch the story unfold.

August 12, 2026. Look up. 🌌

Six planets stretch across the pre dawn sky. A total solar eclipse crosses parts of the Northern Hemisphere. And as darkness falls, the Perseid meteor shower reaches its peak. A remarkable convergence of celestial events in a single day.

So today, I’m taking you somewhere humans have been looking to the skies for nearly 5,000 years.

Stonehenge.

An ancient monument aligned to the movements of the Sun, built long before written records could tell us exactly why. Observatory, sacred ground, astronomical calendar, or something we are yet to fully understand?

Come with me as we explore one of Earth’s greatest connections to the sky. ✨

Some of the world’s most profound artistic conversations happened centuries apart without the artists ever knowing the other existed.

One painted in New York. The other in Rajasthan.

Separated by four centuries, they arrived at the same extraordinary truth about colour, silence and the human spirit.

The connection is far more remarkable than you might imagine.

Watch till the end.
