Chicken Pota Kaleji Recipe 🍗
Ingredients
500 g chicken pota & kaleji (gizzard and liver)
2 tbsp oil
1 onion finely chopped
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 green chillies chopped
1 tomato chopped
1 small potato cubes (optional)
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander for garnish
Spring onion greens (optional)
Method
Clean the pota and kaleji properly and cut into medium pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden.
Add ginger garlic paste and green chillies. Cook for a minute.
Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
Mix in turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt.
Add potato cubes and cook for 2–3 minutes.
Add chicken pota first since it takes longer to cook. Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes.
Then add kaleji and cook for another 5–7 minutes on medium flame. Avoid overcooking the liver.
Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with coriander or spring onions.
Serve hot with roti, pav, or rice. Perfectly spicy and full of flavor! 😋
