We created the traditional Dabb in deodar wood for a project. It attempts to replicate the old glass houses Kashmir had with a contemporary fusion. The roof is made of small shingles of wood, with the structure resting on dado and sarva(octagonal) pillars engraved intricately. The window shutters carry the geometrical look installed under the age old pinjrakari work.

One on our projects: Sanctum Sanctorum and the outer walls were designed and executed in walnut wood work with intricate workmanship and the outer walls were covered in quranic calligraphy bands and paper mache panels to lift the overall look of the space.
