Inspired by the meeting point of science fiction, automotive design, architecture, and Indian mythology, the piece explores how ideas from different eras can converge into a single object.
I’m excited to present Cosmic Chariot as part of the Indian Design Collective by . during Shoreditch Design Week, held as part of the , from 15–17 September at The House of Icons, Shoreditch, London.

Behind every architectural concrete curve is a mould engineered with precision.
For this project, Falcon Cloak Design fabricated custom FRP moulds that replaced conventional MS moulds, making the casting process lighter, more efficient, and more economical without compromising on accuracy.
A small change in process can make a big difference in ex*****on.

The Intent Behind “Sculpted Silence”

This project was born out of a frustration with how luxury spaces are typically designed layered, decorated, and often over articulated.

At Falcon Cloak, we questioned a simple idea:
What if luxury wasn’t added but revealed?

“Sculpted Silence” is our response.
Instead of assembling a room through furniture, finishes, and objects, we approached the space as a single sculptural entity where everything emerges from one continuous language. The goal was to eliminate visual noise and create an environment where form, light, and material do the talking.

Why This Matters
As industrial designers, we don’t see interiors as static compositions we see them as systems of interaction.
This project explores:
How a user moves through a space without obstruction
How surfaces guide behavior instead of interrupting it
How materials feel rather than just look
Every curve, transition, and junction is intentional.
Nothing is applied everything is integrated.

The V-Line Sofa is a sculptural expression of velocity, precision, and structural intent—drawing direct inspiration from the geometry of high-performance V-engine configurations. At its core lies the defining V-notch, carved into the backrest, not as an aesthetic gesture alone, but as a symbolic and structural spine—mirroring the angular convergence of cylinders within an engine block.
This singular move transforms a familiar typology into something unmistakably Falcon Cloak: fluid, architectural, and mechanically poetic.
The outer shell flows as a continuous metallic surface, wrapping the form in a seamless reflective skin. This contrasts with the warmth of the upholstered interior—creating a dialogue between machine and human, rigidity and comfort. The integrated armrest curves resolve into the V-form, reinforcing both ergonomics and visual identity.

Falcon Cloak Design Studio executed a series of custom FRP petal elements for Galeries Lafayette Mumbai, conceived as a sculptural installation that adds depth, movement, and visual rhythm to the space.
Each petal was developed as a unique, free flowing form, engineered in FRP to achieve thin profiles, smooth curvature, and consistent surface quality. The challenge lay in maintaining visual lightness while ensuring structural strength, precise mounting, and long term durability within a high traffic luxury retail environment.
The petals were designed as modular components, allowing for controlled repetition while preserving an organic, non uniform appearance. Extensive prototyping and mold development were carried out to fine-tune curvature, edge thickness, and finish consistency.
From design and detailing to mold fabrication, surface finishing, and on-site installation, Falcon Cloak handled the entire process. The final installation reads as a seamless, floating composition expressive yet restrained reinforcing the brand’s global luxury identity while showcasing Falcon Cloak’s expertise in sculptural FRP fabrication at architectural scale.
