Every day we use objects whose inventor we've long forgotten. A paperclip, a bottle cap, a door: things so familiar we stop asking who first thought of them.
On October 8th, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, Sala Arengo in Ferrara will host "30 oggetti in cerca d'autore," an event we're proud to organize together with the Order of Architects of Ferrara and the Fondazione degli Architetti di Ferrara.
Michele Ronconi will open the afternoon with a talk on everyday inventions whose authorship has been lost over time, questioning what it means to design something meant to outlast the name of its creator. Elena Borghi will follow with "Le origini della porta," tracing how this element evolved from a simple shelter into a true object of design.
The event grants 3 continuing education credits (CFP) for members of the Order of Architects, with registration open through the Portale Servizi GCFP.
We look forward to welcoming architects, designers, and curious minds alike for an afternoon dedicated to the things we take for granted.
