During London Craft Week, the Embassy of Italy in the United Kingdom and ICE Agenzia – the Italian Trade Agency for the promotion and internationalisation of Italian companies, in collaboration with CONFARTIGIANATO, presents “Benfatto. Excellence in Craftsmanship between Art, Material and Time” – an exhibition dedicated to outstanding Italian craftsmanship.
The exhibition is based on the idea that high-level craftsmanship is not merely production but a living culture. Not simply an object, but a story. Not just technique, but vision.
The exhibition journey evokes the sensory dimension of craftsmanship: the gentle sound of tools, the scent of worked wood, the resistance of stone, the ductility of metal, the softness of leather, the silent vibration of fabric. Each piece thus becomes a tangible testimony to a profound dialogue between technical expertise, artistic sensibility and material culture.
“Benfatto” presents a journey dedicated to the creative explorations of Italian master artisans, interpreters of diverse languages, themes and styles, yet united by a common denominator: the excellence of Made in Italy.
