Cultural Manifestation for a New Ecology of Sound

Terraforma Exo is a new cultural manifestation produced by Threes Productions, whose first edition will take place on June 15th and 16th in Milan’s Parco Sempione. Conceived as a curatorial intervention expanding beyond enclosed venues to explo

re new geographies, Terraforma Exo confronts the challenges of navigating contemporary cultural landscapes by facilitating moments of deep introspection and critical thinking. The curatorial program will encompass live performances, installations, sound walks, and panel discussions featuring leading thinkers, musicians, and artists who operate within the spectrum of sound and ecology. A significant focus will be given to the ecological dimension of sound as an element capable of creatively transforming and interpreting space, opening up new ways of coexistence.

The response to Radical School has been incredible. Thank you to everyone who applied, every candidacy brought a different perspective and intention.

The class is now complete, and we’re looking forward to starting this journey together. Thanks to the support of , and to Jam who joined the project by offering two additional scholarships, the programme will be fully accessible and free of charge for four participants. This first edition will close with a public moment: an open showcase of the work developed by the participants, followed by a DJ set by Donato Dozzy.

Terraforma EXO and the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain present Correspondences Live by Soundwalk Collective () & Patti Smith (), two exclusive performances at Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber in Milan on 26 and 27 November 2026.

We’re very pleased to announce these performances as the final chapter of Terraforma EXO 2026, an international programme that will unfold from July across three locations: New York, Palermo and Milan.

Correspondences Live brings together sound, voice, image and memory. The project, born from a long-standing collaboration between Soundwalk Collective and Patti Smith, draws on field recordings, texts, images and sound compositions gathered over more than a decade across fragile ecosystems and historically charged territories, addressing climate change, the resilience of nature and the relationship between people and landscape.
Correspondences Live is a live, immersive extension of the Correspondences exhibition presented by and the (26 Nov 2026–7 Mar 2027).

ROMASUONA is now open at .

The exhibition traces a moment in which music became far more than sound: a cultural force capable of shaping spaces, communities, imaginaries, and forms of collective life. Focusing on Rome in the 1970s, the project maps a dense landscape of voices, venues, encounters, and transformations that defined an era.

We developed the exhibition design as a narrative environment where music guides the experience, shaping the rhythm and movement of the exhibition itself. Contributing to this exhibition meant working on something that has always been central to our research: the relationship between music and place — how sound inhabits space, how spaces influence listening, and how cultural scenes emerge through these exchanges.

ROMASUONA brings together archives, images, documents, and sonic materials to reconstruct a city in motion — a crossroads of artistic and cultural trajectories whose echoes continue to resonate today.

In response to the energy and interest surrounding this first edition, we’re opening two full scholarships supported by Cotopaxi, alongside two additional reduced-fee spots. An effort to make the programme more accessible, opening access to the daily life of Villa Arconati and to the sessions led by Donato Dozzy.

What we envisioned for Terraforma Radical School: a learning experience rooted in encounter and shared practice. Radical School is an intensive educational programme where participants live and work together for four days of workshops at Villa Arconati. Guided by Donato Dozzy, they will explore sound in its many forms through listening, field recording and collective processes.
The programme culminates in a final collective activation of the labyrinth, featuring the OSA Sound System.

We are happy to present Terraforma Radical School, an educational and research programme exploring sound ecology and collective practices through an interdisciplinary approach.

Taking place at Villa Arconati-FAR, in collaboration with Fondazione Augusto Rancilio, June 8–11, Radical School invites participants to share a space of living and learning, where daily experience becomes part of the process, fostering exchange, proximity and temporary collective forms.

Led by Donato Dozzy, the programme unfolds through listening, composition, and attention to space.

Applications are now open, to anyone with a curious, artistic, and performative mindset.

Thanks to the support of Cotopaxi, a full scholarship will be awarded to one selected participant. Terraforma Radical School is realised with the support of TIMES.
