While our environment is seeing an over abundance in waste, communities in the global south (and the pacific islands more specifically) account for a fraction of the waste created; but are affected the most by drastic climate changes. FATRA is dedicated to transforming recycled, natural, and vintage materials into high-quality handmade goods in collaboration with other sustainable design teams tha
t analyze creative solutions to alleviate waste buildup. We believe cradle-to-cradle design will enhance the quality of life for all, while simultaneously maintaining balance within our ecosystem. Not only in the beauty of differences, but the strength that lies within; we believe that items produced with consideration for nature and the livelihood of others carries a sense of care, love, and compassion that transfers to its wearer.
