香川県 金刀比羅宮本殿に向かう途中に圧倒的存在感を放つ「旭社」です。
歴史と荘厳さを兼ね備えてます。此処に辿りつくには628の石段を登ります。（本殿にはさらに157段登ります）

Asahisha Shrine is an imposing shrine on the way to the main hall of Kotohira Shrine in Kagawa Prefecture. It combines history and grandeur. To reach it, you must climb 628 stone steps (and then another 157 steps to reach the main hall).

徳島県美馬市にある「うだつの町並み」です。
旧家の屋根にある特徴的な“うだつ”は屋根と屋根の間にある小さな壁で火災の際に隣家からの燃え移りを防ぐ役目を持っています。
岐阜県美濃市の「うだつの上がる町並み」も思い出されます。

This is the "Udatsu Townscape" in Mima city, Tokushima prefecture.
The distinctive "udatsu" on the roofs of old houses are small walls between roofs that serve to prevent fires from spreading to neighboring houses in the event of a fire.
It also reminds me of the "Udatsu-lined Townscape" in Mino city, Gifu prefecture.

本日は立春ですね。生きていれば良い日も勉強になる日も誰しも必ずあり、実行したからこそ得られる勉強が大切だと受け入れられる自分は歳を重ねたのだと実感してます。この先世の中の価値観は変われど、チャレンジする若者への理解は捨てない人でありたいです。
