High efficiency kominka renovation in Nara.
(Hiraya from Taishō 11)
I took some pictures with thermocamera as post construction verification.
Outside temperature 34° _ inside 24°, with the only one undersized AC set to 24° running at minimum.
Designed and renovated to meet European energy standards.
It performs great in winter as well.

Kominka are great architectures with lot of potential.
Let's use them properly
