Eshinamwenyuli Youth CBO has launched a tree planting drive in Kakamega county, Butere subcounty, Marama Central ward under the UNDP- CLIMATE PROMISE program. The project aims at scaling up afforestation and landscape restoration by building the capacity of local community in adopting climate smart farming practices for improved livelihood and food security. The function was graced by the sub county administrator, the Assistant county commissioner, county forester and a fleet of other local leaders.
