Phnom Sampov is famous for its folktales, the bat army during sunset hour, and the landscape from the top.
Here I’d like to introduce you one of my favorite spot from the crowd-escape where I need to do a kid-level rock climbing a little to sit on the rock (to us is a cliff 🥴) and sit to wait for the sunset hour. At the same time, the army of mini bats will fly out of the cave to add more scene to our view. They fly by the direction of the wind and that’s why the day I went day I couldn’t catch up all of small creatures into my photo.

Butterfly Pea flower steam rice plus Chicken Fried from on top of
Instead of a plain white rice, they made it a better look by getting blue (my favorite color) from the butterfly pea flower that make the dish looks even more interesting.
Two types of sauce for both rice, the chicken, and pickle salad (they make it a salad then pickle it for at least a day).
What a good impression they made!
And as my dad said, good mood plus good food, it’s a good day! Have a good day 👍

I’m sure so many of you who had visited Siem Reap, had seen Ta Prom temple, aka the Tomb Raider, but not so many of you had been to Ta Som temple.
Me too! I have been there but just 4 times only from 2019-today!
I recently found a short document about them and suddenly I found something more interesting there now.
I’ll go there more from today onward 😉
Even though We have so many temples here and those , and they are all amazing by their own ways. Yet I only take people to visit a temple unless I know what I find special there or because I like it

This is said to be made during16EC when the King Chan Raja came to Angkor City to continue building and converting the temples into Buddhism temple.
At the back side is Bakheng temple, sunset attraction ☺️

Kralan, the Bamboo Sticky Rice!
It’s a good stop before entering Wat Samrong Knong, and I highly recommend for the morning taste as it’s hot grilled and flavorful.
This is made of sticky rice, black bean, and coconut as the MUST have. Sometimes we can call to book them for a special added like longan or jackfruit too.
Have you had this before!?! I like it a lot.

RistoBtB (Restauante Italiano) in Battambang
I just found out, The Buffalo Alley bar is now a good Italian Restaurant and these are what I tasted last night.
A cute small restaurant found by an Italian couple who used to work none related to F&B industry. They traveled in Asia and ended up falling in love with Battambang and decided to stop here and started it!
What a lovely story to hear about people falling in love with my hometown.

“You made me CRY” said !
Yet I’m so touch and proud to make you feel this way about visiting Phimean Akas, The Royal Palace, back in early April.
Lu doesn’t really like to be in the crowd (actually there we around 10-15 people there) and she had a special feeling toward trees, religious, and rituals practice, so I took her to where I sometimes went to feel the history, (feeling of) special connection to our long time animism, and center of peace at the back side of Phimean Akas temple.
We talked a little bit about the temple, the folktales, and some animism then stayed silent, let her feel the deep connection with the atmosphere, especially that tree, then we left and came back with lotus flowers for a small offering.
That was the very first time I took people there and she could feel it, I was so move by her 😭
