Little bit about what happens in Hydroponic cultivation

Plants fulfill their nutritional requirements by absorbing nutrients available in the soil. There are 17 essential nutrients required by a plant for its proper growth and development.

These nutrients has to be in a specific form for the plants to absorb them.

For ex, Nitrogen is an essential element required by the plants and when nitrogen is present in the form of NO3-, the plants can absorb them.

In Hydroponic cultivation all the nutrients required by the plant are provided to the plant in their optimal specific form. These nutrients are dissolved in water and are allowed to be taken into the plants with a continuous flow of water

This ensures that the plant doesn’t deprive itself from nutrients or water.
