I always worry so much whether the flowers will be liked,
especially when they’re ordered for someone very dear and loved.
I know the botanical structure of the flower perfectly well, but every single time before starting work, I look through hundreds of photos of the exact flower I’m about to create.
It’s like I’m tuning in to it, trying to catch the way the petals move, the subtle shades of color, and to capture that tenderness and even the fragrance — right there in the clay.

The flowers are harvested at dawn to capture the peak of their fragrance, and it takes about 100 kg of flowers to produce 1–2 liters of oil.
