A museum is a repository where the heritage of ancient civilizations are put on exhibit for the benefit of people living in the present.It is an archive of man's past achievements.Buddha image showroom and Culture of National races showroom on 4th floor, Myanmar ancient ornaments showroom and Myanmar art gallery showroom on 3rd floor, Myanmar performing art showroom and Myanmar traditional fork art showroom on 2nd floor, Royal reglia showroom,Myanmar epigraphy showroom, Lion throne showroom and Yadanabon showroomon 1st floor, are displayed at this place.The components displayed in National museum are ancient Myanmar traditional components.So, I love to create this facade design as Myanmar traditional style because I want to relate both outside and inside.I found that some Myanmar traditional house's walls are decorated with bamboo strips.So I imagines to create bamboo mat pattern as design concept.And then I choose bee-hive shaped pattern.Because, bee-hive is a place for all kind of bees that organized.In the same way,National museum is a place which display all ancient Myanmar traditional components which came from various era and places.So, I imagine that National museum is the same characteristics with bee-hive.
