Logic has limitations. Faith is limitless.
Conviction is faith in an inner knowing where neither praise nor criticism hold no sway.
When you have the strength of conviction for your path, there is simply no desire or need to try to convince the world that you are right and others are wrong. External noise, trends, and limitations are irrelevant. One can listen without feeling threatened, disagree without becoming defensive, and allow others the freedom to see things differently.
The need to prove, condemn, or convince others often only comes from desperation fed by a lack of self-confidence and a fragile ego.
When rooted in conviction, the energy is focused inward and fully directed to your purpose. This single pointed certainty has allowed inventors, artists, scientists, leaders, and ordinary humans achieve the extraordinary all throughout our history.
People who live with conviction act intentionally, calmly, and radiate an energy of clarity, positivity, and peace.
This week, take a few moments to consider where do you still feel the need to convince others and explore why?
Also, recognise where you act with absolute certainty; where there is no friction in what you know and what you do. This will help you identify where your ego is playing up and where your soul is rooted in faith. The latter is leads to a life lived with priceless progress, contentment, and serenity.
