โIt almost fits.โ
That sentence can become surprisingly expensive when you're going to look at the result every day.
The wardrobe fits.
Almost.
The cabinet reaches the wall.
Almost.
The storage gives you what you need.
Almost.
And that little leftover space?
You eventually stop noticing it.
Or at least, you tell yourself you do. ๐
The problem with ready-made furniture isn't that it's bad.
It's that it was made to fit a standard dimension.
Your home wasn't.
A column changes the wall.
A corner changes the layout.
A ceiling changes the height.
A socket changes where something can sit.
And your belongings change what the inside actually needs to do.
That's where custom becomes less about:
โI want something fancy.โ
and more about:
โI want this space to make sense.โ
At RisoCraft, the starting point isn't a furniture size sitting in a catalogue.
It's the actual space you're working with.
Because sometimes the difference between:
โYeahโฆ it fits.โ
and
โThat's exactly where it belongs.โ
is the whole point.
DON'T DESIGN FOR ALMOST.
Have a space where nothing seems to fit quite right?
Show it to RisoCraft.
