Chairman’s Message on Winning the Anugerah Pengiktirafan Pengurusan JMB/MC Cemerlang 2025
I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations and sincere appreciation to the Management Office namely SM2 Building Manager Mr Jerry Tee, SM3 Building Executive En Ainul, SM1 Building Executive Pn. Wawa, Operations Manager En Hezrie and the rest of the working team from PMC Facilities & Real Estate Sdn Bhd, our outsourced accounting services provider Ms Wong of WC Wong Advisory Sdn Bhd and my fellow Committee Members on being awarded the Anugerah Pengiktirafan Pengurusan JMB/MC Cemerlang 2025 1st Placing for High Cost Property Category by Majlis Perbandaran Sepang.
This prestigious recognition is a testament to the Management Office’s professionalism in building management, discipline in complying with the stringent reporting and financial management standards set by the Commissioner of Buildings (COB).
I would like to credit this achievement to my predecessor, the Chairman for the 2024–2025 term, Mr Benildus Saw, whose dedication, leadership and vision has set in motion a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery.
Equally, I wish to record my gratitude to all our property owners of SM1, SM2 and SM3 for your prompt payment of maintenance fee which enable operations to run smoothly, and your continuous support and constructive engagement.
In her keynote address during the award ceremony, the Yang Dipertua of Majlis Perbandaran Sepang, YBRS. Dr. Ani Binti Ahmad DSM said, the panel of judges for this Anugerah have set 6 criterias for the award. Five of the six criteria are building management, financial management, reporting compliance, MC engagement and kesejahteraan or community well being, all are within Management Office (MO) / Management Committee (MC) scope and control. The 6th criteria is “prompt payment of Assessment Tax (Cukai Taksiran)”, with the first half year payment due on 28 February and second half year payment due on 31 August.
Therefore, I wish to encourage all owners to continue making timely payment of the Cukai Taksiran.
Subject to the terms set by COB on utilisation of prize money, I have directed MO to allocate the RM10,000 prize money on community and social affairs across SM1, 2 and 3.
Let this Anugerah serve as both recognition of our achievements and motivation to continue striving for excellence. Together, we will build on this success and further enhance the quality, sustainability and overall quality of life in this award-winning Setia Marina Community.
