Seeing this space come to life exactly as envisioned is always the most rewarding part. This cool-toned wet kitchen was thoughtfully designed not just for aesthetics, but for the way the family truly uses it every day.

One of the key highlights โ€” the custom island paired with a standard-height dining table โ€” was specially created to suit the clientโ€™s request. It allows her mother-in-law to comfortably sit, prep, and be part of the cooking process, making the kitchen a more inclusive and functional space.

We also worked closely on-site to position the window openings strategically, ensuring privacy without compromising natural light โ€” a small but crucial detail that enhances the overall comfort of the space.

From the clean-lined cabinetry and built-in appliances to the carefully planned wall units that conceal structural elements, every detail was refined to achieve a seamless, modern look while maintaining full practicality for daily use.

At first glance, it feels effortless โ€” but this wardrobe is the result of detailed planning and countless refinements behind the scenes.

Working within a 3.8m x 3.7m room, every decision mattered. From adjusting the carcass proportions to fine-tuning internal dimensions, the goal was clear: not a single corner goes to waste.

One of the clientโ€™s biggest wishes was to have an island โ€” something often sacrificed in compact spaces. Instead of compromising, we reworked the layout to introduce a custom-sized island that fits perfectly within the circulation space, offering both showcase display and practical storage for daily accessories.

Another key consideration was the long dressing wall โ€” designed to support a smooth, uninterrupted dressing experience. Careful planning ensured sufficient hanging lengths, balanced sections, and comfortable movement along the entire wall, making daily routines feel natural and unrestrained.

Every detail was thoughtfully coordinated, not just on paper but closely discussed with the clientโ€™s contractor on-site. By studying the existing structure and truly understanding the clientโ€™s lifestyle, we ensured that every element blends seamlessly โ€” both visually and functionally.

The final look is a modern, sleek composition of spray-painted cabinetry paired with tinted exclusive glass panels, bringing a soft balance of concealment and display. Subtle lighting enhances the ambience, turning everyday storage into a refined showcase.

More than just a wardrobe, this is a daily-use space designed to elevate routine โ€” organised, elegant, and quietly luxurious.

This dry kitchen went through multiple revisions โ€” especially on the island layout and positioning โ€” to achieve a balance between aesthetics, function, and the existing architectural constraint. The central pillar became a key design challenge, and instead of working against it, we carefully integrated it into the overall flow.

A custom depth was carefully planned to accommodate the clientโ€™s long water filter machine and selected fridge, ensuring a seamless and well-integrated look. Every adjustment was made with purpose โ€” not just for aesthetics, but to truly support the familyโ€™s daily lifestyle.

The final layout is not just visually clean, but purposefully planned to suit the familyโ€™s daily needs โ€” ensuring smooth circulation and comfortable wheelchair movement for elderly use.

A modern touch is introduced with sleek glass wall cabinets, designed to beautifully showcase the clientโ€™s wine collection, while adding lightness to the space. The bar-inspired peninsula creates a casual, inviting corner โ€” perfect for winding down, hosting, and everyday moments.

Every detail here reflects a blend of practicality and refined living.

At EJ Design Studio, every design begins with understanding how a family truly lives in their home.

For this bungalow dry kitchen, the clientโ€™s favorite style was Modern Classic, and we brought it to life through a balanced contrast of materials. The white shaker cabinetry creates a timeless and elegant foundation, while the warm wood-toned kitchen island adds depth and character to the space.

One of the highlights of this design is the island seating layout. The seating was thoughtfully positioned to encourage interaction โ€” allowing family members to comfortably sit, chat, do homework, or enjoy light meals while staying connected with whoever is working in the kitchen. The island becomes more than just a workspace; it becomes the heart of family activity.

The open shelving adds both functionality and personality. It provides easy access to everyday items while also offering a beautiful space to display dรฉcor or favorite kitchen pieces.

From this kitchen, the client can also enjoy a clear visual connection to the living hall, creating an open and welcoming atmosphere throughout the home.
