Very often clients approach us with the intent of having tropical architecture to be encapsulated in the home living experience in our country.

Often times tropical is associated with calm & serene environments; very much like having a getaway at a holiday destination.

The brief given for this proposal was simple: Holiday-Living-Home concept residential. It resonates with the client’s background as well being in the hotel industry, coupled with the unique lush green hill site context.

Inspired by The Datai Langkawi & Heritance Kandalama as benchmarks for holiday-living experience, we interpreted the brief as such that it pays homage to the natural context & preserves as much as possible the genius-loci of the place.
