🚰 Understanding the Proper Design of a Building Drainage System

A well-designed sanitary drainage system is essential for maintaining hygiene, preventing odors, and ensuring the efficient removal of wastewater in residential buildings. The system connects different sanitary fixtures through a network of pipes designed to transport wastewater safely to the main sewer line.

🔍 Key Components of the Drainage System

1️⃣ Toilet Drain (WC)
Handles blackwater discharge and is usually connected directly to the main drainage line with an appropriate pipe diameter.

2️⃣ Shower Drain
Collects greywater from the shower area and directs it into the drainage network through sloped piping.

3️⃣ Bathroom Sink Drain
Connected through a P-Trap, which retains water to prevent sewer gases from entering the building.
