A building can be understood through drawings, but seeing it take physical form brings an entirely different perspective.
Introducing the Commercial Office Tower, an architectural scale model produced by ODK Models.
Commercial developments involve several architectural elements that must come together to create one cohesive structure. From the building’s overall form to its façade details, proportions, and individual design features, every element contributes to the final architectural experience.
Our task was to translate this vision into a detailed physical representation.
Working at a 1:100 scale, we produced a full-colour architectural model using precision laser-cut components. This allowed us to capture the building’s architectural character while maintaining the definition and proportions of its individual features.
The laser-cut detailing brings precision to the model, while the carefully applied colours give the structure depth and a more realistic appearance.
But the value of a physical model goes beyond its visual appeal.
It gives developers, architects, and prospective stakeholders something tangible to examine. It makes architectural ideas easier to explore, creates a stronger visual connection to the proposed development, and helps communicate the design beyond what drawings alone can achieve.
