*Project Commencement: 3-Bedroom Bungalow with Cinema Room*
As of January 4th, 2025, our construction project for a 3-bedroom bungalow with a cinema room officially kicked off. The first crucial step in this exciting journey is preparing the site and laying the foundation. Here's a brief overview of the process:
*Site Preparation:*
1. *Clearing the land*: The construction site was cleared of debris, trees, and other obstacles to create a clean slate for building.
2. *Grading the land*: The terrain was leveled to ensure a uniform elevation, which is essential for a stable foundation.
3. *Conducting soil tests*: Soil samples were collected to determine the soil type, density, and bearing capacity. This information will help us design a suitable foundation.
*Laying the Foundation:*
1. *Excavation*: The area where the foundation will be laid was excavated to the required depth, taking into account the soil test results and the design specifications.
2. *Foundation type*: Based on the soil test results, we decided to go with a *strip foundation*, which is suitable for our soil type and will provide a solid base for the bungalow.
3. *Foundation laying*: The foundation trenches were filled with compacted gravel, and the foundation walls were constructed using reinforced concrete.
4. *Waterproofing*: The foundation walls were treated with a waterproofing membrane to prevent water seepage and damage.
