List Of Nupe Villages And Towns In Three States Of Nigeria
Here we decided to write about the list of Nupe Villages and Towns in Nupe land, The Nupe people who actually live in North Central Region of Nigeria have give out the list of their towns and villages in Niger state, Kwara state and Kogi state, Nupe people are well recognize in all over Nigeria for their traditional, festival, cultural dressing and also their tribal marks. Almost 70% of Nupe villages are near river area's, Some Nupe villages are sorrounded by deep rivers while few of them are on savanna area's, Nupe people of river area's refer them selve as "Bata chi" while the Nupe's of savanna refer them selves as "Lakpanti Chi" , there are also others that in Jungle area's refer to them selves as "Kusopa Chi" . The Nupe's of river area's mostly focus on fishing and cultivation of rice while the Nupe people of savanna and jungle area's focus on farming, hunting and rearing of animals e.g cattles, sheep, goat, pigs and other relate animals, the Nupe people who are near rivers usullay face problem on their farms and home's when there're in raining season, some of their plants and their houses flosh away in result of death cause by heavy rains, they also face problems of transportation through rivers Nupe people are one of the most strong hardworking tribe in Nigeria that concentrate on farming of Rice, Yam, Beans, Maize, Cassava, Corn, Milet, Guinea corn, Melon, Suya beans, Water melon, Sweet potato, Bambara nuts, Ground nuts and other crops.
The Nupe comprises other related ethnic groups and sub-tribes namely; Nupe-dibo, Nupe-kakanda, Nupe-kupa, Nupe-bassa, Nupe-gana-gana. Everybody knows that Bida, Agaie, Mokwa, Lapai, Lafiyagi, Patigi, Tsonga, are the most popular Nupe towns but here we decided to combine it together both Towns, Villages and Harmlates.
We also combined it with all the sub-tribes towns, villages and their harmletes
