Posted • Assumingly every architect is experiencing stress in some way or another on a recurring basis.

Whether you are working in an architecture office, or whether you are running your own firm, either way, chances are that you might be exposed to complex problems, short deadlines, huge workloads, and many responsibilities. Most likely stress will become a part of the equation. That makes it necessary to find a way to stay healthy, happy, and creative.

Zaha Hadid once said, “If you want an easy life, don’t be an Architect”. Whatever the exact context was, from which this quote originated, it seems to be true for a handful of reasons.

At the end of the day, whether you are the owner, the employee or a student, everything you do or don’t do is a choice for either a healthier or an unhealthier behaviour which will manifest itself over time. For that reason alone, it will be quite beneficial to take some time to reflect and adapt.

Posted • Dear aspiring Interior designer! Are you confident with your render skills? 💭

👀This is something I didn't know when I first graduated. I though I had to know how to make pretty realistic visuals.

🤔But once I join the design company, there was dedicated team of visualizes who only will produce the images for you and your project!

🤓So does this mean that you don't have to use 3D modeling softwares? Not really, it will definitely help you to still know how to use it, and having visualization skills will be strength in your CV.

😉But it also doesn't mean that you can't show your creativity without it! Many ways to visualize your ideas, by weather it's hand sketching, collages, using Photoshop or quick sketch up model! Don't be afraid of showing off your skills even tho you might not be confident with rendering!
