I am sure my ancestors will be surprised 😮 because I added blended plantain🫣 and that single acts elevated this meal,
Kai you needed to see it, but unfortunately I didn’t record that part 😭

I woke up this morning craving egg roll, after a very long night. And then I paused for a minute, i realized I have never made one or eaten one in years.

It took me back to my first pregnancy, i was at the market picking up baby things and I got so hungry (pregnancy wahala) and decided to buy some egg roll, after finding a comfortable spot to eat, that was when I received the shock of my life. Upon opening it to eat… every egg inside was bad.

I felt so disappointed, Angry, even. I wanted to go back, but I didn’t have the strength that day, so I just let it go, and somehow, I let egg rolls go too.

Today I told my son I was going to make some. He looked at me, confused and asked, “What’s egg roll, mummy?” And i realized he hasn’t seen or eaten one before, so let’s make it together!
