Back in December 2017, I wasn’t painting walls…
I was blasting them with sand! 😂
I worked on ships and small cruise vessels — building scaffolding, climbing up and down, slipping here and there, and silently questioning my life choices 😅
And when I wasn’t on the scaffold, I was learning how to sandblast: me, the hose, the wind, the noise, and endless rust that never seemed to disappear 🤣
No VIP lounge… just tools, dust, waves, and coworkers yelling, ‘Come on, just a bit more!’ 😂
But honestly? That was my training ground.
If you can work on a ship in winter, you can work anywhere! 💪⚓️
And here I am today — still with tools, but at least my feet are on solid ground! 😄
