We were honoured at the opening of APOC/TIOS 2025 to have so many dignitaries attend the opening ceremony including the Premier of Taiwan, President Lai who has been a staunch supporter of the orchid industry since his days as Mayor of Tainan City, and Deputy President. When President Lai became President he especially mentioned to the TIOS team , ‘please don’t forget me !’
Also in attendance were various Mayors and Ministwrs as well as Bernd Treder, President of the DOG (German orchid Society) and the WOC to be held in Dresden in March 2026
