Happy Yennayer 2972! 🎉🎉🎉

Yennayer is the Amazigh or Berber new year, commonly celebrated in North Africa on the 12th January.

On the 23rd December, a spokesperson of the Moroccan government announced that we would finally officially celebrate this important day in our culture. He also announced that significant investments would be made to institutionalize the Amazigh language in Morocco. 🇲🇦

Please join us in celebrating this day and important step forward! 🥳💪🏼

Algeria had already been celebrating Yennayer since 2018, when it became a public holiday. Well done Algeria! 🇩🇿
