A thoughtful renovation where concrete slabs meet oak planks, Odilon and Bolon flooring ground the spaces, and precise lighting ties it all together — framed by generous windows that draw nature inside.

At Salmon Eye, the seamless flooring from Odilon Creations proved to be the perfect complement. The product can be customized to match any NCS color of your choice, offering endless possibilities.

For the lower floor, the color Gravity Green was chosen to create a “bottom of the sea” feel, while Shattered Light was used for the rest of the Salmon Eye flooring, giving it a visually floating effect.

Renovating an icon - Villa Schjøtt by Geir Grung

Read the whole story of our 2 year intense renovation project of Villa Schjøtt in the annual book of , where the project was picked by a jury for the signal project last year (link in bio). On the front page you´ll find this photo of the spinal staircase that once was a soundmaking, timewounded construction - now ready for a new century after a careful renovation.

This iconic villa with it’s beauty & historic legacy, surely deserves to be dressed up - and was the perfect location when our dedicated designfriend had his fashion shoot together with the clever photographer . It all makes sense and we love the combo - no doubt - this staircase is ready for a new century!

Salmon Eye - An eyecatching icon dipping in the Hardangerfjord, Norway.

Once inside you get the feel of being in a spaceship or maybe sence a touch of something extraterrestrial. Working with interior solutions together with and , trying to capture the materials and products to suit this architectural and engineering masterpiece of a construction, was a challenge - but oh so rewarding once we found the correct materials.

The best part for us - check out the flooring from Odilon Creations / Liquidfloors. So fitting, only building a few millimeters, easy to maintain, floating along - taking up the movements from the ocean, making transitions between floor and ramps natural and effortless. It’s a peaceful product for the eye - and a canvas to add other beautiful material and objects to.

Thank you and - you brought the upper level to the higher level for the senses.

Details from our Compact Living project in Bergen, where walls and doors are covered with Thalostuc, a product from .

Thalostuc is a highly decorative mix based on limestone of the highest quality and enriched with a blend of European natural stones, and just the right mix of aggregates. This material is characterised by a special texture and visual depth. The rich composition brings tactility and a deeper dimension to surfaces, allows deep pigmentation and bring Spaces to life.

Compact Living in Nordnes, Bergen.

In the heart of Nordnes you´ll find this unique signature apartment from Michelsens. The goal was to create a space that not only feels good but also utilizes every square inch efficiently, incorporating smart design solutions and products that fit into the compact living category within interior design.

Floor, walls, staircase and ceiling is covered with one of our favorite materials; a surface treatment from Odilon Creations. The feeling of being hugged with natural light, the joy of seamless solutions and exclusive materials like Douglas fir creates a truly unique atmosphere.
