Crafted from planked oak with a custom stain, the cabinetry brings warmth and character without sacrificing elegance. Paired with exquisite marble, the result is a space that feels both luxurious and grounded in natural beauty.

All the pieces are starting to come together at our Central Auckland project.

With the kitchen now installed, alongside the laundry, guest kitchenette, and a number of the wardrobes and vanities, the overall scale and detail of this project is really beginning to take shape.

Still to come is the final stone installation, along with what will become one of the standout spaces of the project, a substantial outdoor kitchen featuring 18 integrated appliances.

A timeless kitchen inside a turn-of-the-century family residence.

Designed with entertaining in mind, this home’s ground-floor kitchen serves as an informal gathering space, offering generous circulation while maintaining a strong connection to the rest of the home.

Materiality sits at the heart of the design. Panelled oak fronts, intricate brass handles, and integrated doors leading into the hallway work together, while a curved solid oak island anchors the centre of it all, bringing warmth, softness, and confidence.

Every element is carefully brought together, resulting in an atmosphere that feels contemporary but harmonious with the character of the house.

It’s easy to overlook the smaller details, but it's often what brings everything together.

Take Skyline Sanctuary’s custom handle design. A soft radius on the outer edges picks up on elements used elsewhere in the project, such as the stainless steel shroud over the rangehood.

It reinforces the curved motif and ties the design together, rather than letting it sit in isolation.

We help guide decisions around hardware and finishes, conducting a detailed sampling process in-house, involving multiple revisions to refine finishes, colours, and textures so they align with the architect’s and designer’s intent.

Skyline Sanctuary | Orewa Clifftop

Designed and built with a clear focus on detail, this kitchen brings together a complex material palette.

Invisible white marble wraps the benchtop, splashback, and vertical surfaces, with mitred detailing across the cabinetry, ensuring no visible end panels from any angle.

Storage and functionality are fully integrated, with a hidden breakfast and smoothie station, a fridge tucked behind a wing wall, and Blum Legrabox drawers, all designed and chosen to maintain clean sightlines.

Custom elements are carried throughout the kitchen. Soft curves echo through the space, from the curved stainless steel shroud that houses the rangehood to the custom handle details, which feature a radius on the outer edge. Stainless steel trims run across shelving, tapware, and feature components, tying the space together.

All together, creating a true skyline sanctuary.
