This oak floor was looking tired and worn before we started.

After a full professional sand and a hard wax oil finish, the timber has been brought back to life with a beautiful natural look and durable protection that will last for years.

Even with a piano left in the room, our team carefully worked around it to complete the job properly. 🎹

✨ Kwila Floor Transformation – Remuera, Auckland ✨

We’ve just finished a custom Kwila floor stain to remove the red tones and achieve a warm, elegant brown. Finished with Loba Invisible 2K Protect and Loba Duo Semi-Gloss Water-Based Polyurethane for a flawless, durable finish. 🏡

This American Oak floor in Murray’s Bay, North Shore Auckland was fully sanded to remove the old solvent-based polyurethane coating and bring the timber back to raw.

We then sealed it with Loba Invisible 2K Protect and applied two blonded coats of Loba Duo water-based polyurethane to achieve a lighter, modern finish while keeping the natural look of the oak.

A fresh update that completely modernises the home while providing long-lasting protection.
