Put out these goods for Auckland Council recycle which occurred this morning. Two televisions sets office furniture and other electronics. Went to considerable effort to protect them from the weather which proved to be pointless as the collectors just dumped them into the compactor truck and crushed them. When I told them they couldn't do that they just challenged me. So much for Auckland Council new recycling programme ....

Hyline Brown Hens for sale $15.00 each ....

Have owned these hens since day old but have too many so selling some off. They are approx 2 years old and still laying well. They've had a spoilt life on our lifestyle block and have been vaccinated. All are healthy and in A1 condition.

We are only interested in selling these hens to those who will look after them as well as we have. "Not for eating"...

Such irony .... whilst we are being told not to use too much water our government is happy to give it away to companies like Oravida "for free" so they can make huge profits by selling to the Chinese. Anyhow enough of this ... car needs a wash.

Fantails (piwakawaka) are so friendly but are very challenging to photograph as they rarely stay still. This one proved to be the exception to the rule and allowed me to capture a few good shots .....

Stumbled upon the Pied S**g whilst strolling along Maraetai beach several days ago. Was surprised that I was able to get within a few metres of it because normally one would need a telephoto lens to get this close. Later discovered that it had a fish hook embedded in it's wing hence its lethargic state. Passed it on to local patrol who were going to have the hook removed and monitor its recovery, hopefully......

Asked supermarket assistant .... are these really free range ?
Their reply .. says so on the box doesn't it ! This rort has been going on for years. Those involved need to be prosecuted and then caged .....
