Pool time! Now probably isn’t the time of year you think about putting a pool in your backyard - but it should be! We started the process with this Merivale client in May 2025, refining designs and install process. But as with all things consent, and a bit of back and forth with council, install didn’t start till November. So to recoin the phrases… summer yards are made in winter!
This was an awesome makeover to the yard of this character home. Centring around the pool by Freedom Pools South Island we also demolished earthquake damaged paths and patio, to replace with a floor level kwila deck, a new concrete patio with louvre shelter, relevelled the lawn, and finished the area with the glass pool fence - which always looks so clean!

Was awesome to see this project all done up for market! The gardens have thrived in the last two years since we finished up, and the fire in full roar absolutely completes the space! We had so much fun on this install, and now there’s the chance for it to be yours, as it’s currently up for sale with Sotheby’s Realty!

Quick facelift to this Fendalton entrance way; previously a sunken down concrete paved path, stepping down from the drive and back up into the house felt dingy & out dated. A quick fit out of the Modwood “Charwood”XTG decking creates a level entry that flows from the parking through to the front door - a simple change that leaves a far better first impression to potential buyers! 👀

Where are you spending your weekend?!

This deck was a lot of fun angles and elevations to replace the old rotten deck, and create a hilltop oasis!

140x19mm creates 3 staircases and landing to lead to the hilltop deck, covered with a Louvre shelter to allow for entertaining and enjoying in all seasons!

Small spaces don’t have to be wasted spaces! This Spreydon townhouse was suffering from lazy shingle areas & bad levelling, making moving bins a nightmare, and leaving no usable space!

With the help of some Modwood XTG “Firebrick” from the team we were able to level out the front yard to create flat areas to use, while accomodating the different levels between the front door & garden shed. Along with a new fence, gate, plants & bark mulch, a few small changes made this feel like a different house!

We loving projects that blur the line between indoors and out, and this one certainly fits that bill!

Walnut Sandstone pavers from are the core of this transformation, creating level patios and walkways along side the existing open side conservatory, as well as recladding all the entrance steps to give this beautiful Harewood property a facelift.

New lawns using fescue and some reclaimed rail sleepers from really tie the space together.
