We’re Hiring – Qualified Tiler & Labourer

Location: Christchurch
Company: Emerald Tile

Emerald Tile is growing and we’re looking for two new team members to join our Christchurch team: one experienced tiler and one labourer.
If you take pride in quality workmanship and want to work with a professional, supportive crew, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualified Tiler

We’re looking for a skilled tiler to work across residential and commercial projects.

Requirements:
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in the tiling industry
-Strong attention to detail and high-quality finishing standards
-Ability to work independently and within a team
-Reliable, professional and well presented
-Full driver’s licence required
-Must be legally able to work in New Zealand

Labourer

We’re also looking for a reliable labourer to support our tiling team. This role has the potential to lead to a **tiling apprenticeship** for the right person, based on attitude and performance.

Responsibilities:
-Assisting tilers on site
-Preparing surfaces and materials
-Mixing adhesives and grouts
-General site preparation and clean-up
-Assisting with deliveries to site when required
-Learning tiling skills from experienced tradespeople

What we’re looking for:

-Full driver’s licence required
-Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
-Physically fit and reliable
-Good attitude and ability to follow instructions
-Interest in building a career in the tiling trade
-Must be legally able to work in New Zealand
