My next season's fruit is starting, and the tail ends of my apples picked before we get some cold weather. ( not sure when it is coming!!)
I have fruit all year round in my food forest.
Nothing tastes better than tree ripened organic fruit!!

What have you got ready in your garden fruit wise???

As the saying goes, I was built for comfort, not speed! πŸ˜‚

One of my favourite snacks is freshly popped popcorn sprinkled with my delicious homemade savoury mushroom powder.

I dehydrate mushrooms, then whizz them up with herbs and spices to create a versatile umami seasoning that adds amazing flavour to popcorn, vegetables, soups, casseroles, and so much more.

It's simple, healthy, and absolutely packed with flavour!

If you'd like my mushroom powder recipe, simply comment RECIPE below and I'll send it to you.

I have had a bumper crop of Dill this year, way more than I can use fresh so I have dehydrated a lot and also frozen about 4 jars. When frozen, the colour stays lovely and green and holds it flavour really well.
I literally just pick it, chop it up into about 1cm lengths, discard the thick stems and loosley fill jars. With it lightly filled, it is easy to pull small amounts out when you want it.
Because I garden organically, I didn't need to wash it, and no bugs were visible so all good to go.
Who else has preserved Dill?
How do you do it?
