Attention engineering fans! We're excited to share a few photos of the steel chassis our in-house Engineering team is building for our next tiny home project.

As you can see from the pictures, we use top-of-the-line 100mm engineered structural steel for a solid, reliable foundation. We've also added all the connections necessary for screw piles, and the base is designed to accommodate standard piles on-site if required.

What's more, each Littlefoot Tiny Home comes complete with a quad axle dolly that attaches to the chassis to classify it as transportable. This means that not only will our next tiny home have a strong and durable foundation, but it will also be easily transportable wherever this lucky customer want to take it.

We take pride in our attention to detail and high-quality materials, so we're confident this steel chassis will be the perfect foundation for our next tiny home.

Rolling into your news feed with a Sunday evening project update! This time it's one of our most popular designs, the Tui - a beautiful 1 bedroom tiny home that's perfect for anyone looking for cozy and comfortable living.

We're making steady progress on this bespoke build for a local customer, who will be relaxing on their rural property in style. The Tui has been wrapped with Masons UNI Wrap and 40 below tape for ultimate weather protection, and the cavity system is all set and ready for the windows to arrive.

The roof has been framed and is eagerly waiting for the roofing iron to be installed. Plus, the pre-wire and pre-plumb have already been completed, and insulation installation is underway.

The ply lining has arrived and will be installed once the polyurethane finish has been applied. And our skilled construction team has created a hidden cavity for the wiring to ensure a seamless finish without compromising the strength of the materials.

Hey Tiny Home fans! The Littlefoot factory is a buzz with activity, and we've got some exciting updates on one of our feature builds - the Kiwi! Progress is moving along quickly and we can't wait to share the finished product with the world.

We've just installed the IBS Rigid wrap and taped it all up, and the cavity system is in place and ready for cladding. Plus, we're well underway with the prewire and pre-plumb, and the gas and electric penetrations are all sorted.

James is doing an amazing job straightening frames and getting everything ready for insulation once the prewire and pre-plumb are completed. And as soon as the windows are in, we'll be ready for the gib install.

But that's not all! The roof framing and bracing is already complete, making this Kiwi 2 bedroom tiny home super sturdy. We can't wait to share the finished product - and we hope you're just as excited as we are!
