Some progress shots of this new garden after 1 year of development!
The client's wanted something colourful and vibrant that would bring life to this busy roadside corner while a small food-forest system establishes!
The concrete bed had been overfilled with topsoil, so needed scraping back and retaining with ponga logs to create access and hold mulch on the slope for soil building.
Wildflowers and fast growing perennials steal the show in the first season, outcompeting weeds, creating shelter and improving soil conditions for fruit trees and shrubs to eventually take over.

Here I bring my offerings and creations.
Gently working with the elements and energies of nature, I restore and design spaces bursting with life, craft bespoke heirlooms, and openly share what knowledge I have, that others may do the same.

This venture aims to support people into deeper, mutually beneficial relationships with the nature in their backyard, while building community resilience and reducing reliance on the industrial systems that are destroying our precious world.
