Caught up with some friends over the Matariki Weekend and just loved their outside shower. Perfect for the beach and great use for a surfboard they don't ride anymore. What cool thing do you have that you'd use in an outside shower!

When space is limited within a smaller ensuite bathroom, you can consider space-saving options such a vertical heated towel rail. Looks great and fulfills a practical function.

It's always interesting to see the award-winning direction of bathrooms locally. The winner of the bathroom space uses clean lines and dark tiles. Great in a big space - and luxury with a big price tag! Have done some fabulous spaces lately, some with dark tiles to create a luxurious feel. What do you think of dark vs light tiles?

Here is an example of a bathroom that was part of a large renovation that we did earlier in the year. The entire renovation was kids bathroom, master ensuite, powder room, laundry, downstairs bathroom, kitchen, and lounge (whew!!). The interruption of covid-19 meant that we did not get all the after shots. So, this is just a taste of what we did. We will take some more shots of the rooms and provide an update soon. And here we go into Level 3. Site Specific Safety Plan - tick; Covid-19 Government Tracer posters with unique QR code for each site - tick; Wash station for each site built and loaded ready for transport to the client's home today - tick; Job done and we're ready for business!!!

I remember a while ago when we could actually go out for a coffee ', this great cafe Sticky Fingers Cafe in Apollo Drive has these wee loo signs. Don't you think they are really funky??

We're ready to get back on deck!
During the different Alert Levels for Covid-19, we here at Recreationz Bathroom Renovators have developed policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of those working onsite, our families, community and our valued clients are a top priority.
These initiatives include a Site Specific Safety Plan (SSSP), and as you can see we've been busy getting our wash station and sign in station ready which will be available on every site. Roll on tomorrow!

Saw this interesting mirror in a bathroom hardware retail shop last weekend. It is a magnifying mirror with an LED light around it that is built into a larger mirror. Would you use something like that? I thought it was really clever!

Love this fabulous splashback that we put into a kitchen renovation not so long ago. It lifts the room and is exactly as our client imagined it to be.
