Full time Position

We are a small family run building business who does all kinds of renovation work as well as new builds. We are based on State Highway 1 near Himatangi and mainly service Levin, Feilding, Palmerston North and everywhere in between.

We are after someone with 2-3 years of experience who is self-motivated and able to think on their feet and bounce ideas off when needed. Being able to work as a team is a big deal to us to enable us to progress together in the building industry and to always produce quality work for clients. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and will require you to do the same on job sites. We also need someone to be able to work on site alone at times when required.

Requirements to apply:

- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience on the tools.
- Attention to detail.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Eager to learn and progress to becoming a qualified builder.
- NZ resident or valid work permit to be able to work in NZ.
- Must have your restricted licence at a minimum.

We are offering $25-$30 depending on experience.

Personal post ahead. We would like to introduce our newest part of the team who was born on 16/3/23. She is excited to join the building industry and as you can see, her big brother is happy to be promoted from junior apprentice.

On a serious note, we want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we awaited the due date. We will be taking a few days to soak it in then we will be back as usual.

Here is one of the jobs we completed in December which made for some very happy clients to actually have access to their back door. This job was to build the veranda, install a new exterior door and remove an old chimney on the other side of the house. Very pleased with the look and loved the feedback we received from this job being on a busy corner.

Hey everyone, just a heads up that we are officially back and ready for action for the New Year!

After an unbelievably busy November/December, my wife Katie, our son Ryder and I had a well needed wind down over Christmas and New Years and spent some quality time together at the stunning Himatangi beach and explored our back yard a little more.

2022 was a great year for our business as we are now seeing the effect of 'word of mouth'. This has been an amazing feeling to show that the ones who have trusted us to complete their dreams and work on their houses are appreciating the time and skill that goes into my teams work and I just want to say that we, as a family run business, appreciate you all and feel truly amazed at the support you provide by mentioning our name to others.

We hope you all have an awesome start to the new year and have some cool goals to smash out this year 💪
