We have a vacancy for an experienced all rounder to join our busy team, based in Hokitika. The position requires;

🔷 A Clean Class 5 Licence
🔷 Truck & Trailer experience
🔷 Confidence in operating off-road, tipping & spreading
🔷 Excavator and wheel loader experience is preferred but not essential.

This morning the staff enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Eats Cafe where we also recognised the fantastic service to the company of Paul Rasmussen (Raz). Raz has clocked up 15 years service (with several years of casual service previous to that). Thanks Raz, your a very valued member of the team.

As 2025 comes to a close, we would like to thank all our clients and suppliers and wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas Season. The staff will be taking a well earned break from lunchtime on Friday 19th December and we will be back in action on Monday 5th January 2026.

Due to a heavy workload and upcoming contracts we are looking for staff for the following roles - Excavator Operator & Labourers

EXPERIENCED EXCAVATOR OPERATOR
We are looking for an experienced excavator operator to join our contracting team. We operate a range of late model excavator from 6 to 50 tonne and carry out a wide variety of earthmoving all over the West Coast.

Ideally you will have;
* Previous excavator experience is essential. You must be able to work to levels and have an eye for detail.
* Experience with GPS systems, placing rock or farm work will all be an advantage.
* Ability to work unsupervised with a positive work attitude, but also able to work well in a team environment.
* Experience in other heavy machinery and Class 4 or 5 licences would also be an advantage, but not essential.
* Pride in your work and equipment and a commitment to site safety and hazard management.
* A team player with good communication skills and accurate record keeping.
* You need to be a NZ resident or hold a valid work permit.

LABOURER POSITIONS (Short Term Contracts, 3 to 6 months)

Ideally you will be;
* Physically Fit - some heavy lifting will be required.
* Not afraid of a rake, shovel or broom.
* A clean full Class 1 Licence.

Blue September Update!
The boys are well into their push ups. 16 staff are taking part and the total for week 1 was 2235 push ups. Leading the way was Damien, with an impressive total of 190 for 7 days! Thanks to our mates at TWL Damo took home a few gifts that they donated.
