Hard water staining doesn't just affect shower glass.

These exterior windows had significant mineral staining built up on the glass, along with weathered aluminium frames that were starting to lose their finish.

Rather than replacing the glass, we restored it and carried out a frame restoration treatment to bring the whole system back to life.
The difference is especially noticeable when the sun hits the glass and the view becomes clear again.

This bathroom didn't need replacing.

The grout had become discoloured, mineral deposits had built up on the shower glass, and the whole shower was starting to look tired.

Instead of replacing tiles or glass, we restored what was already there.

You don’t realise how much the view has faded… until the glass is properly restored 👌
Years of mineral build-up and hard water staining can slowly dull windows, haze the glass, and block out what’s actually there. Most cleaning products only touch the surface — they can’t remove bonded mineral damage.

This exterior glass didn’t actually look that bad at first glance…
But once the sun hits it properly, you can see the mineral build-up bonded into the glass.
Normal cleaning usually won’t remove this because it’s not just dirt sitting on the surface anymore.
After restoration, the clarity and view came back massively ☀️

Hey — I see this a lot around - quick one from a recent job 👇

Most people think it’s just the glass…
But hard water stains build up on the frames too —
that’s what causes the white patchy look (especially on dark frames).
On this one, both the glass and frames had mineral buildup.
Once it was removed, the whole area came back sharp again ✨
