Something very special has happened over here at Quiksand recently with Brad Price clicking over his 10 years Service, a massive milestone to achieve and I couldn’t pick another bloke to have by my side!!!! A huge part of the company!!!! A special gift box for him and his family and a custom hand made trophy to show off the milestone, thank you very much mate !!!

Quiksand was lucky enough to be tasked to be apart of repair work on the Kaiapoi War Memorial Statue! With the old steps damaged from the earthquakes and old age they were chipped back to the original concrete and coated in solid plaster straghtend/shaped up with a sponge finish completed by the talented team at Quiksand. So thankful to still have and teach the skill of solid plastering in our industry!!!!

Quiksand Exterior Plastering is looking for a young, keen labourer to join our crew.

No experience needed — just a good attitude, willingness to learn, and not afraid of getting stuck in. This is a hands-on role, working outdoors and learning the ropes of exterior plastering from an experienced team.

You’ll need:
✔️ To be reliable and turn up on time
✔️ A solid work ethic
✔️ To be keen to learn a trade
✔️ A bit of common sense goes a long way

Another flood of photos this time our team was tasked to bring this amazing house back to life with a full wash down plaster repairs completed new sealants around all joinery/penetrations/soffits and construction joints, and two coats of Resene X200 paint. Now this building is ready for what ever the elements throw at it for another 8-10 years! A massive thanks to “The Scaffold Company” for a well built and easy to work off scaffolding!!!!

One thing I must say about my team is how proud I am of the quality and professionalism that goes into every job they do from skimming foundations to the high end jobs every detail is bang on not only do our jobs look great from the road but even better when you walk up close!!!!
