rs, ie; fence posts, farm buildings etc. My name is Tim and my interest in driftwood started whilst walking my dog "Flippen" along the many beaches on the coastline in Skåne, Sweden. Flippen, being a border collie needs a lot of exercise and started by finding sticks for me to throw for him. I slowly realised that many of them had fascinating shapes and started to take them home with me. Before long I had started creating different objects to decorate my Hotel, Restaurant & Bar to help create a local themed atmosphere. This proved to be very popular with my guests who wondered if it was possible to purchase certain items which I obviously agreed too, so started our hunt for bigger and better pieces, washed up by the frequent winter storms, which I could then utilise in making my own designs. I have now moved to Martinborough in the Wairarapa and collect from local beaches and our famous Ruamahanga River which also feeds all our Vineyards.These designs are now available to you via Martinborough Village web site, I hope that you enjoy !!
