Well done Hoani and Shane first ceiling repaint with the majority of the work completed by themselfs with a little bit of direction from me there’s a couple touch ups I’ll go back and do for them by myself but all in all very good work for there first one🌲🌲🌲i think the best part of this job was them saying today after seeing me run full speed why did i let them do the majority of the work and that we could of been finished way earlier if i had of done it i told them because thats how you learn by doing it yourselfs the only major diffrence in our abilities is my experience while it seemd fast to them i would of only been running a average pace of a painter we hope everyones had a good start to the week as allways happy mowing🌲🌲🌲

Well we ended up haveing to push a little bit of painting over to tomorrow and have just sent a quote to Waitaki Resource Recovery for work on the waterway next to there yard so fingers crossed.It was awsome to have the daughter along side us over the weekend🌲🌲🌲We hope everyone’s enjoyed the day will catch yas all tomorrow🌲🌲🌲p.s Can anyone spot what is wrong in this picture here’s a hint it’s in his hands as always happy mowing🌲🌲🌲

While the boys workd hard on getting todays goals completed inside the store Nia managed to hand out almost 50 cards to people outside🌲🌲🌲🌲ty to all thoes that stopped and took time out of your buisy days to speak with her and took a card it made her day🌲🌲🌲last day tomorrow to do the final tweaks and remove the signage off the windows so it’s all fresh and ready for the new store to go in closer to the end of the month🌲🌲🌲it’s a little bit strange seeing yard men painting so we may have to reorganise our stuff a little bit to include other things we are able todo as today we were working as painters but handing out lawn and garden cards🌲🌲🌲even know the job isn’t very big there is actually a lot of skill that goes into the final product looking good and being able to last and as the boys have been going along I’ve been passing on little bits of knowledge to them so that in future if we have more jobs like this come up the process will become a little smoother and faster🌲🌲🌲we hope everyone enjoyed the sun today as always happy mowing🌲🌲🌲

2nd coat on the ceiling done and dusted last coat tomorrow then all the fiddly brush work parts sunday to finish it up properly🌲🌲🌲We had Shane in with us today he likes to run slowly so today I pushed him to keep up with Hoani he didn’t do to bad🌲🌲🌲we go and see the recycling center today to look over the water way next to them excited cant wait to show everybody!!!🌲🌲🌲A lovely lady from Andy Anderson builder ltd next door came an popped her head in to say hello I introduced us and what we do and gave her our card and said if at any point we are to loud with the music while we work just pop your head in and say🌲🌲🌲music makes the day faster helps the team get into a good flow and synchronise and makes the work and day go faster tomorrow the daughter Nia will be with us im going to have to make her a mini work top🌲🌲🌲we hope everyone’s enjoying the sun as always happy mowing🌲🌲🌲

Massive day Hoani had course then took his contract down to the recycling center to get some days volunteering this afternoon we painted a ceiling we managed to get the 1st coat on it was brought to my attention we may have to start a second branch of boys garden and mowing called boys painting and decorating🌲🌲🌲ty to Grizz and Mike for there help today best part of the day was watching Hoani learn to use a roller properly and complaining his shoulders were sore from haven his arms in the air allday he will sleep well tonight as hoani picks up days of work at the recycling center i will be looking for another worker to cover his days so there may be some new faces popping up alongside us in the near future🌲🌲🌲we hope everybody enjoyed the sun it was lovely meeting some new omaruvians aswell as a few tourists as always happy mowing🌲🌲🌲

Morning all no obligation to donate at all even a share will do🌲🌲🌲Today after Hoani finishes his licence course we will be handing in his contract todo some volunteer work down at the Waitaki resource centre here in Oamaru and starting to paint a ceiling on a new alteration/sewing shop that will be opening very soon so stay tuned for pictures and up dates threw the day as I teach him a bit more about handling a paint brush🌲🌲🌲as always happy mowing enjoy the sun and if you see us out today working in town remember we’re always up for a picture along side members of our community and a friendly chat🌲🌲🌲

Hi all id like to apologise there has been no contact or posts of work for a bit we’ve had to slow up and deal with some home life stuff (my wife has returned to australia full time) and would also like to thank thoes who have offerd help kind words and guidance.We are back up and running so tag away we hope to get back to full days asap all thoes awaiting messages back we will be in contact this afternoon after we have finished up for the day weve recently had our work ute broken into and the ignition barrel busted so we are on the look out for a replacement ignition barrel for a 2001 toyota hilux.bit of catch up for everyone Hoani has started his driving course to gain his learners liscence wich he is stoked about and our other star worker brozley has shifted south for a new adventure so we are hopeing to start getting him a bit of work were he is down south if we are able to he workd hard for us and we are always happy to help people were we can.We currently have Mondays,Tuesdays,Wensdays,Friday slots available now were all caught up We hope everyone’s enjoying the sun as always happy mowing🌲🌲🌲

Ty to Aj Burton for the trade a mower we defiantly needed for some garden work🌲🌲🌲no Shane and brozley today so got stuck in with Hoani🌲🌲🌲well he got stuck in and i got side tracked by a spider its biggest one weve seen come out of a garden here so far as always we hope everyone’s enjoying their day happy mowing🌲🌲🌲

We’ve been pushing regular days back so that we could complete this job we’ve been doing yards professionally for almost 2 years🌲🌲🌲over thoes 2 years myself and Hoani have had the opportunity to work alongside some great young men as well as teach them some new skills and learn a few ourselfs🌲🌲🌲we’ve also been able to meet diffrent parts of our community and have met some great people along the way🌲🌲🌲the effort time and before and afters of this job show we do high quality work at affordable prices if we are able to take our time and not rush the workmanship is even better we hope everyone’s enjoyed the day and remember if your celebrating crate day today drink responsibly if you have a need to go somewhere or are in a vehicle please make sure to use a sober driver and stay safe out there as always happy mowing🌲🌲🌲

Today we got to see how knowledge and information passes from one person to the next while brozley was away for the morning helping his mum I took the opportunity to teach Hoani how to cut spaces in pre laid w**d matting so we could add more plants for the client along their drive way without having to fully remove and reinstall the mat to add plants🌲🌲🌲while it’s a little bit mundane an exercise I was able to see hoanis teaching ability up close when brozley came to help us this afternoon and I gave Hoani the opportunity to teach in my place they both now know how to cut pre laid matting to add more plants wich is a very basic skill but one that is needed in our line of work we hope everyone enjoyed the sun and didn’t get to burnt as always happy mowing🌲🌲🌲
